Several analyzes present Tanganika as a calm province before the year 2013. The period from 2013 to 2017 is considered in several analyzes as the beginning of conflicts over land, economic reasons, linked to power or leadership essentially opposing the two large ethnic groups, the Twa and the Bantu. These cycles of violence resulted in massive population displacements estimated at more than 557,000 people in Tanganyika according to the UN Office of Humanitarian Coordination1.
