Summary note of conflict analysis in the territories of Kabare and Walungu (January - February 2024)
This summary note on the conflict context of the Kabare and Walungu territories is structured around the four (4) dimensions of conflict analysis, namely the profile, causes, actors and dynamics of the conflicts followed by recommendations. for CIAT so that the latter can take it into account in its interventions. This note is taken from more or less recent reports, studies and research available on the Kabare and Walungu territories (see list at the end of the note). This note focuses on the conflict context of the territories of Kabare and Walungu with particular attention to the groups of Irambi/katana, Bushumba, Miti and Cirunga for Kabare and Kamanyola, Mushinga, Walungu, Nyangezi, Lubona, Ciherano, and the Kaziba chiefdom for Walungu.
